How you treat people matters, I was pleased to receive this unsolicited endorsement from a former Town of Gravenhurst Staff member, I will continue to lead with tenacity, integrity and kindness.

" I present myself as a seasoned municipal leader (management) that has garnered over 35 years of experience in municipal governance ranging from small, medium and large municipalities. In that capacity, I have had the privilege of working  (indirectly) with a vast number of municipal council members and mayors. It is with confidence and with extensive experience that I can attest that Ms Lorenz is the councillor representative (mayor) that I reference as the one who consistently upholds and subscribes to the three pillars of municipal leadership: Governance and Accountability; Strategic Leadership and Vision and Community Representation and Engagement.

I have had the privilege of working with Mayor Lorenz for over five years. Although I am no longer with the organization, I can confidently state that she demonstrates a clear vision for the community, communicates transparently and makes decisions grounded in integrity and accountability. From a perspective of an employee, I witnessed her ongoing commitment to collaborate and foster strong relationship across departments and staff. The fact that she supported staff (where it made sense of course) did not go unnoticed.
